UK Wind Energy Week

With this week being UK Wind Energy Week, we wanted to share how we are increasing our capacity to support the growing offshore wind market with our upgraded Vertical Laying-Up Machine (VLM) in Hartlepool, UK. With the capability to accommodate larger process drums, we can now produce longer unjointed cables, enabling more projects to be developed. With the planned deployment of larger turbines, further from shore, higher voltage and longer-length cabling will be essential to harness the increased power that can be generated. The investment made in our upgraded VLM machine empowers us to meet the increased demand for high-quality, higher voltage, and longer-length cables.
